What is coaching?

According to the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches, the client-coach relationship is a collaborative partnership in pursuit of sustained achievement of a client-directed agenda and goals using strategies and approaches based on the client’s personal values and strengths as identified and assessed by the client. NOTE: Coaching is NOT therapy, counseling or consulting. You will not be told what to do. Your coach views YOU as the expert on your life and what can work for you. EmBODY WELL coaching is holistic in nature and, as a lifestyle and behavior change coaching program, focuses on enhancing and including all aspects of well-being/being WELL.

What is the time commitment? How long does it take until I see change?

Unless otherwise noted, sessions run 30-45 minutes; initial/first session will run slightly longer. Research suggests that an initial commitment to the process of 3 months is recommended to allow time for relationship development, process engagement, goal experimentation and learning.

How much does it cost?

1-on-1 coaching - $85/session

Couples coaching - $150/session

Couples coaching leverages the social support and resource opportunity inherent in any partnership. Sessions run 45-60 minutes. Schedule a chat below if you are interested.

Small group coaching - Variable based on group size (max: 20); starts at $250/session

Small group coaching provides the same support in a small group setting designed to facilitate sharing and development of personal strategies to move you forward in meaningful ways on your health and wellness journey. Sessions run 60 minutes. You can join an existing EmBODY WELL small group (new members can join once a quarter in January, April, July and October) or create a private group with members you select. Special coaching programs: stress, sleep, recovery, uterine fibroids, self-love

Session rates are same as above for coaching programs focused on topics of stress, sleep, recovery, fibroids and/or self-love. These programs have a minimum 12 week commitment and an outline agenda that will be customized to your needs.
